Provincial Count Down Begins
Carney ended their Fraser Valley Playoff run with a 3-2 shoout loss to Surrey Chrisitan. Carney will be playing as the host team in the upcoming AA Provincial tournament.
Carney Wins!
A 3-1 win against GW Graham has put Carney in position to play for 3rd in the Fraser Valley Tournament. Carney will host Surrey Christian on May 18th in their final home game of the season and last game before heading off to provincials.
Fraser Valley Playoffs Continue
Archbishop Carney will travel to GW Graham on Monday May 16th to take on the East Zone winners.

Archbishop Carney’s SR. Girls soccer team will host Sands in first round Fraser Valley Playoff action. The quaterfinals matchup starts at 3:30 on Carney field.
Battle of The Best
Carney faces Pitt Meadows at home Wednesday April 27th. This game features two undefeated teams and will determine the top spot in the North Division.
BC Catholic Consistancy
Archbishop Carney takes home second place at the BC Catholic Cup. The 2011 BC Catholic Cup has some people asking whether anther second place finish meant a “Carney curse” or “Carney consistency”. Coach Santoro’s answer was simple, “It is all about consistency”. The BC Catholic Cup is an annual tournament that hosts about 4 or 5 teams that are yearly threats to win a provincial title. “It is amazing”, says Santoro, “For our school to continually compete at a level that puts us in the finals”.
Carney hopes to carry this momentum in to the rest of the their season.
